How did I get started in design?

My journey began with a fine arts background, where I first developed my creative voice through painting. It wasn't until I took college courses that I realized my work was already blending elements of typography with my artistic style. After completing my first typography class, I was captivated by the medium—its unique ability to merge design with storytelling—and I knew I had found my true passion.
My philosophy is the belief that solving the client’s problem or answering their need is always my first priority. This understanding drives the design, rather than the design dictating the solution. While data is an invaluable tool for decision-making, I also believe that empathy and shared human experience should guide the process. Ultimately, design is about crafting solutions that not only meet functional needs but also resonate emotionally with the audience.
